Welcome back to the studio

For those wanting to get into our studio more often, you can now come back to TPJ with a Self-Guided Guest ticket.

Join us again, (whilst we host our guided Cut & Paste Collage Workshops), but work freely at your own pace, and (if you prefer) without following our intros & ‘five-chapter process’.

Coming with a Self-Guided Guest ticket, you get the opportunity to settle in, unplug & unwind, and become immersed in whichever collage project you’re embarking on. Over this 3-hour time period, you’ll have the same access to our high-quality tools, materials, & scanning tech, as well as our occasional expertise.

If you’ve been before, but plan to bring a friend/family member along, who has not previously attended that paper joint, we request that they purchase a guided ticket, via our Cut & Paste Collage Workshop page.

In case you’re wondering…

During our regular workshops, we onboard you to the space, and the techniques, skills, styles, and technology you’ll use. We also guide you through our 5-part structure, which shows you how to incorporate all of those elements to create your own unique collage art. Once you’ve gone through this process, we then know that you’ll have the knowledge you need to give a self-guided session a go.

At that paper joint, we want everyone to feel welcome.  There are some access details to share about our 100-year-old building.  When booking you also have the opportunity to let us know of any requirements you may have. Studio
The front entrance has one step of 5 inches high, which then gives you full access to the gallery, studio & workshop space. 
There is a variety of seating options within the studio. 
Our floors are polished tiles.

There are three 7.5 inch tall steps to get to our rear bathrooms. 
The two bathrooms have swingings doors and handrails, with a cubicle width of 75cm. 
The closest wheelchair-accessible public bathroom is 300m away on Victoria Street, outside Small Axe Kitchen.
