Collage artist Max Malone (co-founder of That Paper Joint) and sound artist Adrien Harris (Cosmic Sound Explorer) invite you to take part in an immersive visual and audio experience, blending live music with the art of collage-making.
This experimental, multi-faceted event combines an arts workshop with a live musical performance, best described as "intergalactic vibrations for your mind, body, and soul."
As you dive into this ambient, deep-listening set, you’ll have the opportunity to create your own intergalactic-inspired collages. Let the cosmic warbles of Adrien’s live sound set fuel your creativity, as the music and art-making flow together.
That Paper Joint is thrilled to collaborate with the Brunswick Music Festival and Melbourne-based sound artist Adrien Harris (Cosmic Sound Explorer), whose use of modular and esoteric sound machines guides listeners on a relaxing, healing voyage through cosmic frequencies.
While the music ebbs and flows, your handmade collages will come to life, crafted from That Paper Joint’s vast selection of materials and the immersive, transportive sounds of Cosmic Sound Explorer.
This is a highly experimental event and we look forward to your participation.
